JOINT COMMUNIQUÉ ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS BETWEEN THE REPUBLIC OF SOUTH SUDAN AND THE SAHRAWI ARAB DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC
Desirous to further strengthen their bilateral ties in line with the principles and objectives enshrined in the Constitutive Act of the African Union and the UN Charter, and recalling the long history of friendship, solidarity and common struggle for freedom, self-determination and independence shared by the two brotherly African peoples, the Republic of South Sudan and the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic have decided to establish diplomatic relations at ambassadorial level.
